So it’s Thanks Day and I’m sittin’ here at the computer surrounded by my cousins, friends, you know the like. Everyone’s irie. The mist and fog are warmin’ us up.  It makes me think about family and that whole thing. Why is it that so many of us have hard times during the holidays? Okay, so granted there are plenty of people who have wonderful holiday times, but really, there are a lot of us that don’t.  I mean, there’s good food, presents, people we love…So what the hell?

So maybe it’s just stress. Maybe it’s all of the little bits of stress that boil up around the issues that come up. Naturally I think about the stress that’s inherently involved in group productions. There’s the mix of personalities issue, as well of the past family issues. And then I think about all of those family-run carts out there.

Really, these micro businesses are trying to pull of a mini thanksgiving dinner every day of their lives, dealing with the hills and valleys of family/micro enterprises.

Thanks food cart people!
